Rome Statute   Has not signed the Rome Statute. On July 24th, 2006 the Nepalese Parliament unanimously issued a commitment resolution directing the government to ratify the Rome Statute. During a mission to the country in mid 2006, the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister, and House Speaker expressed to the CICC that accession to the Rome Statute would take place shortly. In 2007, a joint mission comprised by PGA, AI, the CICC secretariat and national groups called on the government to move forward with accession. On February 11, 2009, the Minister of Foreign Affairs tabled for Cabinet an agenda item for ratification of the Rome Statute. Cabinet, however, decided that they would discuss it a later stage. In April 2010 the Office of the Prime Minister held a discussion on accession to the Rome Statute.
Agreement on Privileges and Immunities Nepal has not acceded to the Agreement on Privileges and Immunities.
