Swaziland did not sign the Rome Statute. CICC target for ratification in May 2008. During the NGO Forum and the Public Session of the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights that took place in May 2008 in Swaziland, the CICC collected signatures of participants at the ACHPR urging Swaziland to accede to the Rome Statute of the ICC. This petition and other advocacy documents were handed over to the Chief Justice, Attorney-General and officials at the Office of the Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Swaziland.
