Rome Statute   Brazil signed the Rome Statute on 7 February 2000, and ratified on 20 June 2002, becoming the 69th State Party.
Agreement on Privileges and Immunities Brazil signed the Agreement on Privileges and Immunities on 17 May 2004 and ratified it on 12 December 2011.
Bilateral Immunity Agreement Publically rejected BIA on September 4, 2002. Signed the MERCOSUR common position on June 20, 2005.
Implementing Legislation On 23 September 2008, the draft bill to implement the Rome Statute in the national legislation of Brazil, which includes both complementarity and cooperation obligations, was submitted to Câmara dos Deputados, the lower house of the National Congress of Brazil. After approval in this house, the bill will be discussed in Senado, the upper house of Congress, before final ratification by the President. In 2007, another draft had been submitted to Câmara dos Deputados. Both drafts were then analysed in a joint process which ultimately resulted in an incorporated text. The Constitutional, Justice and Citizenhip Commission at the Chamber of Deputies unanimously approved the text in 2009 but it has yet to be presented to the plenary.
