| Implementing Legislation |
A bill was passed in April 2003 by Parliament, which incorporated genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes, but the law is not comprehensive. Work on the cooperation law is in progress. A new draft of the penal code is before the National Assembly, and the UN is contributing to the drafting of a new Criminal Procedural Code. |
