| Rome Statute |
|
Cameroon signed on 17 July 1998. In September 2007, Cameroon became one of CICC’s target countries in its universal ratification campaign. Government officials affirm that there are no political reasons holding back ratification. They also affirm that a ratification law has been adopted by the Government but the draft has yet to be adopted by Parliament. It is perceived that more coordinated efforts would trigger the necessary pressure that could lead the Government to ratify the RS. |
