Rome Statute		Cape Verde signed the Rome Statute on 28 December 2000 and became the 119th state to ratify the treaty on 10 October 2011.
Agreement on Privileges and Immunities		Cape Verde has not signed the APIC.
Bilateral Immunity Agreement		BIA signed and ratified. (date unconfirmed)
Implementing Legislation		The Penal Code that entered into force on 1 July 2004 includes a section on crimes against the international community. However, more work needs to be done for legislation to be fully in line with international criminal law.
