Rome Statute   China has not acceded to the Rome Statute. The ICC Project Office of Beijing Normal University in China has been working on increasing awareness around the ICC in the country. A project has been finalized translating key ICC Implementing Legislation into Chinese last year, and several capacity building workshops for different government representatives as well as academics have been held. Regional ICC seminars have also been held in various Chinese provinces including participation of ICC officials as well as government and judicial functionaries.
Agreement on Privileges and Immunities China has not acceded to the Agreement on Privileges and Immunities.
Bilateral Immunity Agreement Has not signed a BIA with the US.
Implementing Legislation Although the government is not addressing the issue at the time, partner civil society organizations have produced a book in Chinese on comparative ICC legislation from around the world that seeks to initiate discussions around this issue.
