Rome Statute   Colombia signed the Rome Statute on 10 December 1998, ratified on 5 August 2002, becoming the 77th State Party. Upon ratifying, Colombia made a declaration not accepting the ICC's jurisdiction with respect to war crimes, as provided for under art. 124 of the RS.
Agreement on Privileges and Immunities On 15 April 2009, Colombia deposited its instrument of ratification to the Agreement on the Privileges and Immunities of the ICC.
Bilateral Immunity Agreement Signed BIA agreement on September 16, 2003. The pact is considered an executive agreement.
Implementing Legislation Colombian criminal law already encompasses most of the crimes covered by the Rome Statute. However, some provisions should be revised. The MFA has indicated that it is in the process of finalizing an ICC cooperation bill to be sent to Congress for approval.
