Desarrollos de la Corte en relación con otros países
La Corte abrió formalmente investigaciones en siete situaciones: la República Democrática del Congo, el Norte de Uganda, Darfur (Sudán), República Centroafricana, Libia, Kenya y Côte d’Ivoire. La Fiscalía de la CPI también está analizando información de diversos países de todo el mundo para determinar si es necesario iniciar investigaciones. De acuerdo con las declaraciones públicas y oficiales de la CPI, la Fiscalía está examinando al menos ocho situaciones en cuatro continentes: entre ellas Afganistán, Colombia, Georgia, Guinea, Honduras, Corea del Sur y Nigeria. Hasta el momento, la Fiscalía ha publicado los resultados de sus exámenes preliminares sobre los presuntos crímenes cometidos en Palestina, Irak y Venezuela.
