63rd Session - 2008-09
The General Assembly of the United Nations opened its sixty-third session on 16 September 2008. The GA general debate will take place from 23 September to 1 October and is expected to feature a discussion of the ICC's investigation in Sudan.
The 63rd session of the General Assembly opened on 16 September 2008. The General Debate will run from 23 September - 1 October.

For the fourth time, the International Criminal Court will submit a report to the General Assembly about the Court's activities and planning to date. The President of the ICC, Judge Philippe Kirsch, will present this report to the General Assembly in late October 2008. The 63rd Session will also consider a resolution on the ICC and adopt other thematic resolutions with references to the ICC.
