Greece ratified on 15 May 2002, becoming the 67th State Party.

The ratification bill was approved by Parliament on 27 March 2002, and was then signed by the President and published in the official gazette. Sources indicate that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has begun efforts to draft implementing legislation.

The draft law of ratification, completed by an ad-hoc inter-ministerial committe, was submitted to the Parliament on 13 January 2002.
