In the process of consolidating the Asia/Pacific region as fully committed toward this new system of international justice, CICC's campaign seeks to coordinate efforts between civil society organizations and focal point partners in the region, parliamentarians, and government representatives in order to raise awareness about the Court and its mandate as well as promote additional ratifications to the ICC. National networks throughout the region also play a critical role in overseeing and monitoring implementing legislation processes in order to ensure that countries reflect their emerging obligations under the Rome Statute.
