> Who We Are & What We Do > Regional and National Networks > Regional and International Organizations Regional and International Organizations Regional and International Organizations are crucial in promoting and supporting the International Criminal Court within and between regions. For example, such organizations have adopted various declarations that include principles of support for the Court as well as resolutions on the ratification and implementation of the Rome Statute. In addition, such organizations play an important role in ensuring cooperation with the Court, since Articles 87(6) and 54(3) (c) and (d) of the Rome Statute contemplate the ability of the Court and the Office of the Prosecutor respectively to enter into arrangements or agreements with intergovernmental organizations for assistance or cooperation. The CICC works closely with Regional and International Organizations to raise awareness of the ICC among officials, encourage them to adopt strong declarations and resolutions on the ICC, and promote the ICC in their regions.
